What this site collects
Short version: this site sets no cookies and asks for nothing. Visit counts are measured by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track you across sites, so there is no consent banner to click through.

- Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless, records no identifier, and cannot follow you to another site. We see page counts and referrers, nothing that names you.
- One. Everything the page renders comes from this domain; only the Cloudflare Analytics beacon is loaded from elsewhere.
- The clock on the home page reads your device time in your browser to choose a sentence. It is never sent anywhere.
- Our host records ordinary request logs, which typically include IP address and user agent. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
If you send us a brief
The contact form collects your name, email, company, a description of the task, a budget range and a rough timeline. We use it to reply to you and to decide whether we are a sensible fit. It is never added to a mailing list, and it is never sold or shared outside Second Shift.
Ask us to delete it and we will, at any time, by writing to hello@secondshift-ai.com. We keep enquiries we did not take on for about a year, so that a returning conversation has some context, and then remove them.
If you become a client
Engagement terms cover data handling in detail and are agreed in writing before any access is granted. The standing positions are the ones stated on this site: systems run in your accounts under your keys wherever the vendor allows it, nothing is trained on your data, and no copies are retained after handover beyond what you ask us to keep for support.
Where a third-party model provider sits in the path of a system we build, you are told which one and what reaches it before anything is connected.
